Fender Vintera ’60s Jazz Bass 3-Tone Sunburst with Player Series neck – 8.6 Lbs!

Up for sale, a very lightweight Mexican made 2022 Fender Vintera ’60s Jazz Bass body in 3-Tone Sunburst paired with an early production 2018 Fender Player Jazz Bass flamed Maple neck with rosewood fretboard.

8.6 Lbs, which is incredible lightweight for a Fender Jazz Bass.

Both parts came loaded respectively with all Fender stock hardware. Both Made in Mexico. The selection of the body and neck made an incredible sounding, well resonant and extremely lightweight Fender Jazz Bass at an affordable price.

As you might know, 2018 is the first year Fender came up with the Player Series, which happens to be an upgraded version from he previous Standard series. It seems like Fender paid more attention to wood selection (lighter bodies, better woods, see the flamed maple) and most of them came with Rosewood fretboard instead of Pro Ferro in later years. The neck profile is a modern “C” with satin finish on the back and glossy finish on the front of the headstock, very similar in quality to their American ones.

The Vintera ’60s Jazz Bass body was purchased as a brand new fully loaded body (still plastics on the pickups and pickguard) with a gorgeous 3-Tone Sunburst, 4-ply Tortoise shell pickguard, ’60s Jazz Bass pickups, Vintage style bridge with threaded saddles, traditional Vol/Vol/Tone control plate with CTS pots.

The bass comes with a Fender gig bag.

The instrument is in Excellent condition, the bass is almost entirely free from blemishes and visual defects and it’s been used or played with the utmost care. The guitar is currently set and strung with a fresh set of DR strings.
