Fender American Original ’50s Precision Bass 2-Tone Sunburst – By IWTG #6 Build

Up for sale, an incredible parts bass made out of all USA made Fender components. We recently started putting together parts in our shop and this ons is truly special. It really blows away to everyone that grabs it, making a great instrument for someone who already owns a vintage P-Bass and would like to get a vintage looking, high quality P-Bass that is equal to any Vintage P-Bass without compromising the sound and a piece of mind when gigging out. It definitely recalls to all the specs from a 1957 P-Bass. It all started with a brand new (2019) Fender American Original ’50s Precision Bass neck, paired with a 1997 Fender American Standard loaded body in 2-Tone Sunburst. In order to keep the ’57 vibe we replaced the original pickguard for an Fender American Pure Vintage anodized Gold pickguard with a Fender Pure Vintage Thumbrest and a bridge cover. The majority of the hardware on the body such as pickups, electronics, neck plate, knobs and bridge with ferrules (strings through body) are stock. All parts are USA Fender parts. The neck fitted so well like a glove.

The neck is finished with nitro cellulose, loaded with brand new reverse tuners and string tree. 1.75″ nut width and .820″ neck thickness at 1st fret. Neck radius is 9.5″. the condition of the neck itself is literally brand new. As said, the body is from a 1997 American Standard and it has some modest wear (a couple of little dings over the edge and some buckle rush over the back), however in Very Good condition considering its age, in fully working condition and it’s been used or played with great care.

It’s been professionally set with low action, using a fresh set of D’addario Nickel round wounds .045″ – .100″. The bass plays really well and it’s ready to go. The bass comes with a Gator gig bag, the Fender Case on the photos is just for displaying purposes and it’s not included in the sale.
