2022 Sadowsky MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage J/J Bass 5-string ’59 Burst Transparent High Polish

Up for sale, a stunning 2022 Sadowsky MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage Jazz Bass 5 in a beautiful ’56 Burst Transparent High Polish finish with its original Deluxe Soft case.

Sadowsky MetroLine series are made by Warwick in Germany with an outstanding craftsmanship very close to the NYC series, also in price. Do not get confused with the Sadowsky MetroExpress series made in China.

All MetroLine instruments are chambered body, so the bass weights just 8.5 Lbs, which is very lightweight for a Jazz Bass 5-Strings,

34″ scale.This is the 21-Fret Vintage style version with Alder body and Maple neck with Morado (Pau Ferro) fretboard. The pickup configuration is two Sadowsky Passive Stacked J Single-coil with the classic Sadowsky Onboard Bass Preamp 4-knob Active System with Vintage Tone Control (VTC), 2-Band EQ and active/passive switch.

The neck has the typical thin satin lacquer finish with the Standard profile, 12″ fretboard radius dots and Tedur nut and Sadowsky Vintage Style tuners and Quick Release Bridge.

The instrument is in Mint condition and it’s been really barely used, there are absolutely no blemishes to mention however since it’s still technically an instrument in original condition but have been opened or played. It was purchased directly from Roger Sadowsky Shop online Shop last year and as you can see there’s still plastic over the Pickguard and the back of the body to prevent some buckle rush. The bass includes all tags and documentation, including its Certificate of Authenticity, Allen wrenches, unused polish cloth, Personal card from Roger Sadowsky himself and its original Sadowsky Deluxe gig Bag.

The Bass has been professionally set with a fresh set of D’addario Pro Steels .40″ – .130″. It plays amazingly well.
