2018 Fender Custom Shop Willcutt “The ’63” Stratocaster Relic Fiesta Red

Up for sale, here is a special piece, a 2018 Fender Custom Shop “The ’63” Stratocaster built exclusively to Willcutt Guitars specifications. Developed in collaboration between Willcutt and the Fender Custom Shop, this was designed to capture the feel, tone and character of a genuine 1963 Strat. Finished in a gorgeous Fiesta Red over a Relic treatment, it carries all the period-correct appointments that make the early ’60s rosewood board Strat one of the most coveted.

The spec sets this guitar apart from the standard Custom Shop catalog, with a set of handwound 62/63 Strat pickups, nitro-finished pickguard and vintage-correct hardware complete the look, and the Relic work is beautifully executed, with honest, believable wear that feels like a guitar that has lived a good life on stage.

Beyond the intentional Relic aging, this guitar remains completely all original and in excellent condition, with no modifications, no replaced parts and no issues to report. This guitar comes with its original black Tolex Custom Shop hardshell case bearing the Willcutt Guitars badge, along with the Certificate of Authenticity, all original hang tags, the Fender Custom Shop registration card, picks and the Floor Traveler spec sheet.
