2012 Gibson Midtown Standard P-90 Heritage Cherry Burst with OSHC

Up for sale, all original Gibson Midtown Standard with P90’s in a beautiful Cherry Burst. Made in USA in 2012. with its Original Case.

The Midtown Standard is very similar in construction to an ES-335 with a Semi-Hollow Mahogany body with a flat Maple with Chrome Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, with instead a set of two P-90 pickups. Controls are pretty simple: Master Volume and master Tone with a 3-way pickup toggle switch.

It has a Mahogany neck (’60s Slim Taper) and Rosewood fingerboard, 12″ radius, binding and nlock inlays, Grover tuners. The neck thicknesss at 1st Fret is .790″ and at 12th fret .870″, nut width is 1.70” . The neck is perfectly straight (truss rod  works perfect as expected) and without any fret issues, currently set low and it really plays like a dream. Strung with a fresh set of D’addario Nickel 0.045″ – .105″.

These Gibson Midtown Standard are discontinued, however sought after.

Aesthetically, the guitar is in Excellent condition, with a little edge wear, please allow very minimal surface level marks of usage although no other details to mention over the headstock neither the top body. The guitar is in 100% perfect working order and it’s been played with care.

It comes with its original black tolex hard case, no tags.
