Up for sale, a terrific 2011 Fender American Vintage ’72 Telecaster Custom Reissue in a 3-Tone Sunburst, an incredible example with exactly the kind of honest, natural relic style wear and patina that comes from real use over the years, not artificial distressing, without ever having been abused. It is 100% all original, no cracks, no modifications anywhere on the guitar, and it comes with its original Fedner G&G black tolex hard case.

This is the 1972 spec Telecaster Custom, built with the Ash body and maple neck and fingerboard, a 7.25 inch radius, and the period correct details, including the 3 bolt neck plate with Micro Tilt adjustment, bullet truss rod, and the HS pickup configuration pairing a Wide Range Humbucker at the neck with a standard Telecaster single coil at the bridge, giving it access to tones well outside what a standard Telecaster can do. It has the gloss 3-Tone Sunburst finish and black pickguard correct to this model, and it weighs 8.2 pounds, which is right in line with what these early 1970’s typically run.

This particular series only ran for a few years, from 2011 through 2013, which makes finding a genuinely all original example like this one increasingly uncommon.
