2007 Fender American Vintage ’62 (AV62) Olympic White w/OSHC

Up for sale, an incredible, hard to find nowadays Fender AVRI ’62 Precision Bass in Custom Color Olympic White. 100% all original in Excellent condition. It comes with tags, retro instrument cable, pickup and bridge covers (never installed, no drills yet), thumbrest and its original brown tolex case with its case keys.

Lightweight at 8.8 Lbs, perfectly balanced. Made in Corona, CA USA in 2007.

The color is a beautiful Nitrocellulose finish Olympic White, one of the most desired colors, with a 4-ply Tortoise pickguard and rosewood fingerboard. A killer look,

The instrument has been gently used, however there is just some light play wear over the back of the body on the bottom edge due to the nitrocellulose lacquer (just a little tiny nick over the boron edge, barely noticeable), it’ll keep aging nicely over the time. Even with brand newly purchased American Vintage/Original instruments could came from factory with minimal “finish issues” as disclosed by Fender (Look online for Fender Lacquer information sheet). See the photos, although and because of that I still believe it’s in Excellent condition, almost entirely free from blemishes and other visual defects and has been played or used with the utmost care.

The neck on this one (unlike many other AV’63 or newer American Original ’60s) has a slim “C” profile with .790″ neck thickness at 1st fret, typical 1.75″ nut width, 7.25″ radius slab fretboard, reverse tuners and spaghetti logo. The neck is perfectly straight with truss rod working as it should.  It’s strung with a set of D’addario Nickel round wounds .45 – .100″ and it plays exactly as a good old P-Bass should.
