Description
2006 Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus with ’60s Neck Honey Burst – 8.6 Lbs!
Up for sale, an incredible Players grade, VERY lightweight 2006 Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus (with AAA Top) in a beautiful and naturally relic’d, aged Honey Burst. Made in USA in 2006. with its Original Case.
If you got to this listing i’m sure what a Les Paul Standard ’60s means, it’s one of the most iconic Les Pauls. It’s classic mahogany construction with a stunning highly figured Maple top Nitro finish is a killer combo.
8.6 Lbs, which is VERY lightweight for a Les Paul. These years had the weight relief, now called “Traditional weight relief”.
If you’re looking for the cleanest LP this may not be the one for you…Instead, if you’re looking for a true a players grade Les Paul with a TON of Mojo and a couple of really cool upgrades This is it. The pickups have been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan SH-18 Whole Lotta Humbucker 2-piece Pickup Set, which sounds pretty damn good! We never got the bridge pickup cover, however it’s easy to get. The ABR-1 bridge and tailpiece have been upgraded to a Faber (Made in Germany), while the originals are still in the case and are included with the sale.
The neck has a Vintage SlimTaper profile, with a Rosewood fretboard and trapezoid inlays, perfectly straight and truss rod works perfect, allowing a low action without any fret issues. Frets have moderate player however they still have plenty of life ahead.
The Guitar has been definitely played well, has light marks of usage, checking over the flamed top, buckle rush and minimal edge wear, however the guitar has no blemishes, no cracks or re-routes whatsoever and the instruments plays incredibly well and is perfect working order.
It comes with its original Hard Case without any paperwork, however you can still check the internal marks under the pickups where you can clearly confirm the model and obviously the Serial #.
It will be professionally packed, insured and shipped out to Continental US and Some International destinations as well.
