Up for sale is a beautiful Gibson ’61 SG Standard in a classic Vintage Cherry nitrocellulose finish. Made in USA in 1999, with Original Case and tags in Very Good condition.

This particular Guitar is based on the early ’60s Les Paul transition to the SG. Its classic all mahogany construction, all Mahogany body with set neck and bound Rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays makes the perfect combination.

The neck is perfectly straight and truss rod works great, allowing a low action without any fret issues.

The pickups have been upgraded to Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded set (JB Model SH-4 and SH-2 model ) which sounds a bit more versatile than the originals. Other than that the guitar is all original. Aesthetically, the guitar has been well playe, displaying moderate wear (a few light marks and little dings all over the body and neck), however the guitar is in great condition overall without any cracks and fully functional.

It has an Aluminum Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece Deluxe tuners and 3-ply white pickguard. It comes with the typical stock controls 2x Vol, 2x Tone and 3-way switch.

It comes with its original brown tolex hard case with included tags.
