1997 Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay 5 Natural

Up for sale, here’s an amazing ’90s Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay5 H Bass in Natural gloss color with Rosewood fretboard. Made in San Luis Obispo, California USA in 1997. (Do not get confused with the StingRay34 by MusicMan, this is a real Ernie Ball MusicMan).

Weight is 10.0 Lbs which means average for a StingRay with Ash body (before they switched to different woods on the newer StingRay Specials).

100% stock. It has typical MM neck made of a one piece Birdseye maple neck with Rosewood fretboard that is super straight and confortable, allowing low action. Flamed Ash body with a 3ply black pickguard and the classic MM pickup and 3-Band EQ and 3-way switch and black knobs.

The bass has been gently used, there’s minimal wear (minimal buckle rush and patina) and that translate into a lot of mojo. IT’s almost entirely free from blemishes and any other visual defects and it has been used or played with the utmost care. It’s been professionally set and It really plays like a dream.

It comes with an aftermarket black tolex hard case, which is in Excellent condition.
