1972 Martin 000-18 Natural w/OSHC Exce

Up for sale, an exceptional example of an All Original 1972 Martin 000-18, one of the most beloved acoustic guitars ever made. Serial #298XXX.

Solid Sitka spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, Mahogany neck, and traditional X-bracing. The 000 body size delivers a warm, balanced tone with excellent projection and responsiveness, great for fingerstyle or light strumming. Weighting at just 3.8 Lbs, the guitar balances perfectly.

Condition is Excellent for its age. The instrument shows only minor cosmetic wear consistent with 50+ years of careful use. Minor pickguard shrinkage is present, typical and expected for vintage instruments of this period. Setup is excellent with low, comfortable action and excellent playability throughout the neck. It plays and sounds fantastic.

All hardware and components are original. The guitar features classic herringbone top binding, rosewood bridge and fingerboard, open-back tuning machines, and a lacquer finish. It comes with the original hard case.
