Super nice vintage 1970’s Precision bass copy. As you can see, some of these instrument made my Matsumoku/Fugigen were sold under various name brands, and some of them just without any logo or unbranded. These are well known from their superb craftsmanship and tone quality, it’s incredible how close to an original early 70’s is. Think of a ’74-’75 FenderPrecision Bass with Ash body and all maple neck (Maple cap, no back skunk stripe) with black dots.
Ash body with a 3-ply black pickguard and typical 2 control knobs P-Bass configuration. Excepts from he Pickguard (it appears to be a Fender brand), it has all original electronics and a hardware.
The neck is perfectly straight, comfortable and has a slim neck with typical 1.60″ nut width and 0.82″ neck thickness at 1st fret (which is common on 70’s Fenders). It plays smooth and it’s currently strng with a fresh set of D’addario 0.45″ – .105″ nickel wound.
It really surprise on recordings and everybody loves the tone. It’s a one of a kind instrument and it would be though to find a better Precision Bass at this price point, It comes with a pretty good gig bag.
It will be professionally packed and insured to Continental US only. Local pick up in LA is also available at no cost.
