Description
1967 Fender Deluxe Reverb 2-Channel 22-Watt 1×12″ Black Face Amp
Up for sale, here’s a VERY CLEAN example from an original (not a reissue) 1967 Fender Deluxe Reverb Black face combo amplifier in great condition with a lots of mojo and maintenance, working in perfect condition.
This ’67 Deluxe Reverb has been played mainly in Studio and constantly serviced. Cosmetically and functionally is above average and all appears to be original with the exception of the tubes and the Alessandro GA-SC64 by eminence custom speaker, which is a an amazing upgrade.
All transformers and pots are dated ’66 and it’s printed ’67 date on the chassis. Everything seems original, all original transformers and still retains the coveted blue molded caps. The tubes are mainly Groove Tubes on the power amp section, Sovtek on the Rectifier, and some JJ’s on the preamp section. The Reverb unit and the Vibrato works perfectly well.
Aesthetically, there’s only a couple of tiny little dings overt the tolex, otherwise is very clean for its age and the grill cloth is original and in excellent shape with the perfect declaration throughout the years and no rips or tears at all. The original 2-prong power cord is original, which is rare to find in this condition. All hardware seems to be all original. The amp sounds clean and 100% as expected. When we got it there was no Footswitch so we ordered a brand new Fender 2-button foot switch which is the perfect replacement and it’s included on the sale.
As you can imagine, Local pickup in LA is much preferred. Although i can ship it out to Continental US as an option, but you need to understand that shipping this beauty has a cost (It’s more than the courier, it requires the proper double box, padding and insurance) for a roughly 50 lbs shipment. Please check our reputation and how buyers speak well about our packing and shipping techniques).
