PRS Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 Trans Orange

Up for sale, here’s an amazing 1998 US made PRS Custom 24 in a stunning Trans Orange finish. (Do not get confused with the S2 or SE series).

All original. It weights 8.5 Lbs (which is average for a Custom 24). Figured Maple top, Mahogany neck and body (set-neck) with Rosewood fretboard. This is the traditional model with the Moon dot inlays instead of the Birds. It comes with their famous 5-position rotary switch, Vintage Bass and HFS uncovered pickups with cream frames, winged locking tuners and Tremolo bar.

The neck profile is Wide Thin, which makes it one of the most comfortable profiles for most of the people.

The pickups combined with the 5-way rotary pickup selector allows a wide range of tones (including coil tap tele/strat sounds in positions 2 and 4). You get volume and tone control, and treble bleed ensure no darkening in character when lowering the volume pot.

The guitar is in Excellent with almost no blemished or visible defects and it has been used or played with the utmost care. Truss rod works flawlessly, as well as the tremolo bridge and there’s no fret issues at all. It’s currently set with low action with a fresh set of .10″ – 46″ D’addario strings. It really plays incredibly well, as usual on any Custom.

It comes with its original black tolex solid hard case that is un very good condition with all latches fully working. It will be professionally packed, shipped & insured to continental US only. Free local pickup in LA is also welcome.
