Fender PBAC-100 FL Electric-Acoustic Fretless Precision Bass Vintage Natural MIJ

Up for sale, a rare and very unique Fender PBAC-100 FL Fretless Bass, Made in Japan in 1993.
This is a unique Precision Bass with a semi-hollow body Mahogany body with Natural Vintage top and F hole, and acoustic type bridge with strings thru body.

All original. 8.5 lbs, lightweight and very resonant. The main feature of this bass is that it’s an Electric/Acoustic Precision Bass with a regular split coil (Lace Sensor) pickup, plus another piezo pickup that can be used one or the other or just blending both.
Controls are simple: Master Volume, Tone and Electric/Acoustic pickups Blend.

The Neck is a typical modern C Precision Profile neck with an unlined fretless rosewood fretboard, vintage ’70s style tuners (plus a Hipshot BT-2 Bass Xtender D-tuner not he E string). The neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.

The bass comes with an aftermarket really cool vintage Tweed hardcase (which is in very good condition for its age, all latches work), which is a plus since these instruments came with just gig bag.
