Up for sale, here’s an amazing Fender American Original ’60s Jazz Bass in a stunning and classic 3-Tone Sunburst. Made in Corona, CA USA in 2017. 100% all original in Excellent condition, with Certificate of Authenticity and Original Hard Case with all tags and original accessories.

Beautiful Nitro cellulose lacquer 3-Tone Sunburst, with Tortoise shell 4-ply pickguard and all stock electronics and hardware (Vintage reverse tuners, vintage bridge with exposed ground wire and Thumbrest. It has sweet slimmer early ’60s “u” Jazz Bass neck profile with 1.5″ nut width, perfectly straight. Beautiful Rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. It really plays as close as an original ’60s

First owner, the instrument has been gently used, there is some minimal honest wear due to the nitrocellulose lacquer (just light marks that it really looks very cool to me and it’ll keep aging nicely over the time. Even with brand newly purchased American Vintage/Original instruments could came from factory with minimal “finish issues” as explained on the Fender Lacquer information sheet included in the case candy. It has two little extra holes (almost not noticeable) over the pickguard, on top of the neck pickup due to the previous owner installed the thumbrest there. See the photos, the instrument is almost entirely free from blemishes and other visual defects and has been played or used with the utmost care. Recently setup with low action and fresh set of D’addario strings (.045″ – .100″ Nickel wound) on it. It really plays like a dream.

These American Original series were for decades the “American Vintage ’62 or ’64” from nowadays, well known fro being a super solid and reliable workhorse for pros, getting the traditional 60’s Jazz Bass tone at a reasonable price point. This particular one really feels more very like a ’63-’64.

Original and correct period black tolex case (G&G reissue) with black interior. The case candy includes it pouch, COA, case key, tags, ashtray and pickup covers.
