Fender ’57 Custom Twin-Amp (5E8A) Lacquered Tweed Hand-wired 40W 2×12″ Tube Combo Amp

Up for sale, here’s a beautiful and literally unused example from a 2019 Fender ’57 Custom Twin-Amp Lacquered Tweed Hand-Wired 40 Watts 2×12″ Tube Combo Amplifier in Excellent condition. Made in Corona, CA USA.

In case you might not know, the ’57 Custom Twin-Amp replicates the original tweed Twin platform, coveted for its sweet tone and highly responsive dynamics.

It’s a 40 Watt hand-wired all-tube guitar combo amplifier, with the classic 5E8A circuit, using Fender Pure Vintage yellow capacitors, two 12AY7 preamp tubes and Mercury Magnetics transformers. It has a pair of dual Inputs, accommodating multiple instruments with different output levels. It also comes with two 12″ Eminence special design Alnico speakers and a beautiful Brown protective Amp cover.

It’s a robust (but fairly lightweight ay 56 Lbs), powerful and pedal-friendly amp with near limitless tone shaping possibilities.

Aesthetically, the amp is in Excellent condition with just some light stains around the bottom of the cabinet by being moved around, however it can definitely be still considered unused, or “B-Stock/Display unit” as you can see clearly on the photos. It still preserves the original tag on top and the plastic still over the Fender badge. The amp sounds 100% clean as you can expect.
