Ampeg SVT-II Pro – (1994 – Made in USA – All Tube) w/Original Box.

Collector’s grade. In EXTREMELY CLEAN, Excellent condition. Manufactured in 1994 (St. Louis Music era), One of the earlier SVT-II Pro with this facelift, made in the USA by SLM electronics. 100% original. You will hardly find another one in this extremely clean condition with its original Box and padding from factory. This amp was literally bought, installed on a rack and almost unused, then stored for decades at a rack, a closet classic. No cosmetic blemishes at all, not even the typical marks over the rackmount crews.

This is an early model version of the Pro Series, it’s the rack version of the SVT-CL or SVT Classic, both are the same amp although the SVT-II Pro adds a 9-Band Graphic EQ and some additional preamp tubes due to the additional Drive control. All in a 4 rack unit enclusure.

Think of an old school 70’s SVT but with the flexibility and reliability of the Ampeg SLM era amps. Simple: Gain, Drive control, 9-Band EQ with Mid Freq Selector and Master Volume, period. XLR balanced output, 1/4″ and Banana Jack Speakers outputs with 2-4 Ohms selector outputs.

There’s nothing like playing through an Ampeg SVT, you can try how close you get with newer Class D amps or plugins that imitates this legendary amp, although if i ever had the experience you know what i’m talking about…

– 300 Watts RMS ALL TUBE at 2 or 4 Ohms.
– Power Tubes: 6550 (x6) Original Tubes from factory. Still sounds awesome.
– Preamp Tubes: 12AX7 (x4), 12AU7 (1) + Driver Tubes: 12 AX7 (1) and 12AU7 (x2). All originals.
– Input 0dB/-15dB.

– 9 band EQ with 5 steps for Mid Freq selector..
– Ultra Lo & Ultra Hi Selector
– XLR Balanced Output.
– Preamp Out / Power Amp Input / Slave Output.

Tubes are in great condition overall and it’s studio ready, however if you’re planing to take this SVT-II Pro on a tour, of course it’s suggested to have a proper maintenance service and consider some re-tube, and this would apply to any used all tube amplifier.

Upon request, tubes could be securely removed and wrapped for Shipping, don’t worry i know how to do it and feel free to check my reviews about shipping these heavy weight amps. The original box will be inside another shipping box for better protection.

As you can imagine, Local pickup in LA is much preferred. Although i can ship it out to Continental US as an option, but you got to understand that shipping this baby boy has a cost (It’s more than the courier, it requires the proper double box, padding and insurance) for a 95lbs shipment.
