2022 Baratto Custom 33 1/3 Aged Black Private Stock – Brazilian Rosewood w/OSHC

Up for sale, coming directly from Matty Baratto’s private stock here’s an incredible 2022 Baratto 33 1/3 in a stunning Aged Black, custom made in Los Angeles, CA in with its original TKL Black tolex case in Excellent condition.

If you got to this listing, you may probably know the 33 1/3 is basically Matty Baratto’s finest recreation of an early ’60s ES-335 with nuances and boutique appointments such as Honduran Mahogany neck with Brazilian Rosewood fretboard and Maple/Poplar/maple laminated for the body and Maple Center block with Spruce spacers, and aged nitro cellulose finish.

The neck has a Vintage neck profile, something in between a late ’50s into the early ’60s era, (neck thicknesss at 1st Fret is .850″ and at 12th fret .970″, nut width is 1.69″) with a really nice looking Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with trapezoid inlays, perfectly straight , allowing a low action without any fret buzz.

It comes with black pickguard and all VOS aged hardware such with Nitro finish, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop bar tailpiece, vintage Deluxe tuners with keystone buttons and Black Top Hats knobs. Pickups are Seymour Duncan Antiquity Humbucker pickups with 2x Volume and 2x Tone Controls and 3-way toggle switch (hand-wired with vintage style capacitors).

Aesthetically, the guitar is in Excellent + condition, and beside the obvious light relic and aging it has almost no play wear at all, there are only a couple of very minimal surface level marks of usage. Other than that there are no big blemishes nor dings, dents at all. The guitar is in 100% perfect working order and it’s been barely played at Matty’s shop by himself and some of his frequent clientele.

It comes with its original TKL hard case, which is an optional.
