Fender 50th Anniversary American Standard Stratocaster Daphne Blue Rosewood.

Up for sale, here’s a very rare to find Fender 50th Anniversary American Standard Stratocaster. Made in Corona, CA USA in 1996. In excellent condition with its Fender  molded case. These 50th Anniversary series were one of those series Fender did Custom Colors on American Standards.

All original, everything is stock on this instrument, with an original and stunning Daphne Blue with a 3-ply white (yellowed through the years) pickguard and rosewood fretboard are a great looking combo. It comes with stock 3 Since could pickups with the typical Stratocaster configuration with the 5-way switch.

Weight is 8.4 Lbs which is average for an American Stratocaster of these years, it feel pretty well balanced.

It has the typical modern “C” Profile with 11/16″” nut width. The neck is perfectly straight (truss rod works perfect as expected) and without any fret issues at all, currently set low very comfortable, strung with a fresh set of D’addario Nickel .010″ – .46″. It really plays like a dream.

These American Standard Series were for decades what nowadays they’ve been renamed as “American Professional” (I & II), and with minimal changes, they’re all pretty much the same. They’re well known for being super solid and reliable workhorse for pros, getting the traditional Jazz Bass tone ar a reasonable price point.

This one in particular is one of those rare to find because of the color, weight and balance. Aesthetically, It has very minimal wear and ligvery light scratches due to its age although not any single blemish nor dents. Other than that the guitar is in great overall shape and 100% fully functional, the instrument is almost entirely free from blemishes and any other visual defects and it has been used or played with the utmost care. It comes with an original Fender Hard molded case that is heavily used, yes it has some cracks and does not match how great condition as the guitar itself, however it’s totally functional with all latches working and the handle in great shape.
