1982 Ibanez Artist AR100 Polar White

Up for sale, a vintage 1982 Ibanez Artist AR100 in a gorgeous Polar White finish, Crafted in Japan.

All original, in Very Clean condition for its age with a Black tolex hard case.

It weights at 10.6 Lbs, which is average for these Artist series guitars.

The late ’70s/early ’80s Artist Series features the best in Ibanez craftsmanship with a Mahogany with carved maple top body, Rock Maple (bound) neck with Ebony fretboard and pearl inlays. Original Pickups are Super 58 with 3-way toggle switch, as well as all original wiring and electronics. It comes with the Ibanez Gibraltar locking bridge with sustain block and slotted tailpiece. Controls are the typical Les Paul type two Volume and two Tone knobs. All (aged) gold hardware is original, including tuners, strap buttons and bridge.

The neck is perfectly straight (truss rod works great), currently professionally set with a fresh set of 10″s D’addario Nickel. It plays really smooth.

Cosmetically, The guitar is in Very Good+ condition considering its age. It has some light patina and yellowing, little minor surface level marks, minimal edge wear on the back of the body (binding is perfectly all over the places, no chips). Fretwise, these are original with minor wear however still with some good life left. Generally speaking the guitar is in great and Very Clean condition overall and in 100% fully functional, all original excepts from its case that is a newer aftermarket, great quality.
