1982 Ibanez Artist AR100 Polar White

Up for sale, a vintage 1982 Ibanez Artist AR100 in a gorgeous Polar White finish, Crafted in Japan in Excellent condition for its age with a Black Rolex hard case.

The late ’70s/early ’80s Artist Series features the best in Ibanez craftsmanship with a Mahogany with carved maple top body, Rock Maple (bound) neck with Ebony fretboard and pearl inlays. Pickups are Super 80 with 3-way toggle switch. It comes with the Ibanez Gibraltar locking bridge with sustain block and slotted tailpiece. Controls are the typical Les Paul type two Volume and two Tone knobs.All gold hardware. The tuners have been upgraded to retrofitted Grover (which ones fits perfectly without any extra holes).

The neck is perfectly straight (truss rod works great), currently professionally set with a fresh set of D’addario Nickel. It plays really smooth. It weights at 10.8 Lbs, which is average for these Artist series guitars.

Cosmetically, The guitar is in Excellent condition considering its age. It has some light patina and yellowing, little minor surface level marks (binding is perfectly all over the places, no chips). Fretwise, these are original with some wear however still with some good life left. Generally speaking the guitar is in great condition overall and in 100% fully functional, its case is a newer aftermarket, great quality.
