1976 Marshall JMP Model 1987 MK II 50-Watt Guitar Amp Head

Up for sale is an original 1976 Marshall JMP Model 1987 Mk II 50-Watt head in Very Good condition. This is an incredible example of the classic mid-70s JMP tone. It is overall very clean for its age with only minor cosmetic wear and a missing parts of the Marshall logo badge on the front, which can be easily replaced if desired.

The amp is all original with the exception of a professionally added front-panel Master Volume control. The mod is fully reversible and was done without drilling any additional holes, preserving the originality and value of the chassis. All three original Dagnall transformers are present and untouched.  It has an obvious stencil paint int he back from a previous owner.

Power tubes appear to be NOS and the preamp tubes are mainly Ruby Tubes. The amp has been recently serviced here in LA and is sounding incredible. It delivers that unmistakable 70s Marshall grind, punch, and clarity that the 1987 circuit is famous for.
