1967 Fender Bassman 2-Channel 50-Watt Head Black Face
Up for sale, here’s a VERY CLEAN 1967 Fender Bassman head black face, in Excellent condition.
Amazing for Guitar and/or bass. It’s been played mainly in studio and serviced. Cosmetically and functionally The amp is in incredible condition and all appears to be original with the exception of the tubes, recapped and the upgraded speakers. It also has the 3 prong plug for safety reasons.
All transformers and pots are dated ’67 and ’66 (even the amp cab has the “P” prefix, it’s printed ’67 date on the chassis). Everything seems original, all original transformers and still retains the coveted blue molded caps. The tubes are RCA on the power amp section, TAD and GE’s on the preamp section. Pots works flawlessly. All hardware seems to be all original and fully functional (latches to lock the head with the cab and the two legs works perfect). The amp sounds clean and 100% as expected. The grill cloth seems to be original.
Optionally, we also have a matching 1967 Fender 2×12″ piggyback cabinet loaded with Pyle Speakers (Pyle was previously Utah) that Fender originally used on multiple black and silver faces from the early ’60s throughout early ’70’s. These are MH12C290 speakers are dated ’78 and they sounds so good. If you’re interested in the combo check our other listings. You can see it not he last photo as a reference, however not included on this listing.
As you can imagine, Local pickup in LA is much preferred. Although i can ship it out to Continental US.
