Up for sale, here is a 1989 Eventide H3000S Ultra-Harmonizer, one of the most iconic studio effects processors ever made, in the racks of the world’s top studios since its introduction in the late ’80s.

The H3000S was the studio model of the series, instantly recognizable by its classic metallic blue faceplate, and it has lent its sound to countless legendary recordings across nearly every genre.

Building on Eventide’s pioneering Harmonizer legacy, the H3000 combined world-class pitch shifting with a full range of true stereo effects, including delays, reverbs, stutter effects, a vocoder, a string modeler, phasers and a sampler. It also introduced diatonic pitch shifting, the ability to intelligently harmonize in key, a groundbreaking feature.

Every parameter is fully MIDI controllable in real time without introducing digital clicks, and the analog circuitry was designed by the legendary Dave Derr, who went on to create the Empirical Labs Distressor. The H3000 has a character that plug-ins still chase today.
