Gibson ’61 Reissue SG Standard with Maestro Vibrola Heritage Cherry

Up for sale, an incredible Gibson ’61 SG Standard with Maestro Vibrola in a classic Heritage Cherry nitrocellulose finish. Made in USA in 1999 with its Original Case and tags in Excellent condition.

This particular Guitar is based on the early ’60s Les Paul transition to the SG name. Its classic all mahogany construction, including Mahogany body and neck (slim-taper profile)with bound Rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays makes the perfect combination. It has an ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece. Vintage style Deluxe tuners and 3-ply black pickguard. It comes with the typical stock controls  2x Vol, 2x Tone and 3-way switch and a Classic ’57 Neck and Bridge stock pickups.

Aesthetically, the guitar has been lightly played, displaying very few light marks of usage over the body and neck from years of playing), however the guitar is in Excellent condition overall without any blemishes nor cracks whatsoever and 100% fully functional condition.

The neck is perfectly straight and truss rod works great, allowing a low action without any fret issues. It’s been just restrung with a fresh set of D’addario Nickel and it plays amazingly well. It comes with its original brown tolex hard case with included tags.
