2016 Moollon J – Classic IV 1960’s Faded Sunburst

Up for sale, here’s an incredible and sought after Moollon J – Classic IV in a stunning and classic faded Sunburst, made in 2016 with its original Hard case.

If you’re reading this I’m sure you know all about Moollons and there’s a current 4 year waiting list.

This is an impecable example based on a typical 1960’s 3-Tone Sunburst with the faded red mid layer Jazz Bass. The craftsmanship is superb and the attention to detail is outstanding. I dear to say these instruments are closer to an original early ’60s Jazz Bass than any Fender Custom Shop.

It’s super lightweight, 8.2 Lbs. with an incredible balance and a neck that has an accurate early ’60s pBody n this one is Ash, Maple neck with Macassar Ebony fretboard. The pickups are Moollon VJ-60 with typical Vol – Vol – Tone controls and all Vintage specs Nickel hardware and a Tortoise Shell pickguard. Everything’s stock, including its original case which is a Gator Brand at this point and it comes also with its original Moollon polish cloth, stickers and pick.

The bass is in Excellent condition, and because of its very thin finish layers, here are some obvious minor level surface level marks of usage, however the instrument is in Great condition overall without any defects and in perfect working order. The instrument has been played or used with the utmost care. It’s been just set with D’addario Stainless Steels 0.040″ – .100″ and it plays amazingly well.
