2012 Fender Blacktop Baritone Telecaster Classic Copper

Up for sale, owned by Sammy Sanchez 2012 Fender Blacktop Telecaster in a beautiful Classic Copper finish. Made in Mexico in 2012.

In case you might not know, Sammy Sanches is a well known Guitar Tech guru and luthier. For several decades he has worked for some of the most influential guitar players and artists such as Santana, ZZ Top, Slash, Lenny Kravitz, Ben Harper, Toto, Keb Mo, Bonnie Raitt, George Benson and Larry Carlton just to name a few.

This instrument belongs to his personal collection and and as you can expect it’s been really well taken care of. this really cool Fender MIM Baritone Telecaster is basically all original, with some special appointments made by Sammy such as the back of the neck being sanded down (lightly, just to remove the glossy finish and have a more satin smooth feel), plus fret leveling, crowning and polishing for better playability. Sammy’s labor on any guitar is worth definitely more than the guitar itself.

Other than that, the guitar is completely all original including stock pickups, electronics and hardware.

Aesthetically,, the guitar is in excellent condition. There’s almost no blemishes at all, only very minimal surface level marks of usage, although the guitar is in great shape and well and under professional maintenance from someone like Sammy.

The guitar comes with a 1980’s Fender USA hard molded case. It ships out to continental US only. International buyers please inquire first for shipping quote.
